The Coaching Toolkit

Twenty Twenty Learning provides a series of workshops which equip leaders in education and industry with key skills to improve performance in a range of ways. 'The Coaching Toolkit' provides a comprehensive guide to every aspect of the coaching process; delegates will be empowered to implement coaching in their day to day activities and understand its potential to impact positively on development in their own organisations.

Coaching is steadily becoming an essential tool in organisations' learning and development strategy toolboxes, and its use by leaders is set to increase even further in the future. Often seen as a 'soft skill' in the past, coaching is now throwing off this image and moving centre stage as its ability to bring about positive and lasting change in individuals, teams and organisations is proven.

We all recognise that people learn and perform best when they want to learn and perform. And, therefore, people are most likely to make and sustain change when it is change that they want to make. This fundamental link between managing performance and motivation cannot be underestimated; high quality coaching is the vehicle that brings the two things together. Individuals are empowered; value is added.

The workshop approaches the 'business' of coaching from a number of perspectives seeking to equip delegates with knowledge, skills and experiences to ensure successful coaching practice within their organisation.

Delegate comments:

"Excellent, stimulating day. Fast-paced practical activities which focused on essential skills to take back into the work place. An immensely valuable workshop"
Dympna Wilson, Senior HR Business Partner, Department for Work and Pensions

"Very enjoyable day, lots of practical help and support, supplemented by useful background material"
Gary Wolton, HR Business Partner, Department for Work and Pensions

"Most professionals have little or no training in the development of their staff colleagues. This course filled a gap in my experience; also it made me, as a health professional, reconsider my relationship with patients, in assisting them to manage their own diseases"
Mrs F Plimmer, National Health Service
