Schools and Colleges Portfolio: Student Focused

Our in-school training team is passionate about all aspects of learning and shares an enthusiasm for working with young people to achieve sustainable outcomes. Our student workshops and programmes aim to add value to the curriculum by energising and inspiring learners at all key stages. We know that any form of effective training cannot be a 'one-off' event, so all programmes include a period of e-mentoring to establish an ongoing dialogue which will embed the learning and lead to further skills development.

The Classroom Architect Series (Gifted and Talented)
Within this programme we provide three one-day workshops: Thinking Skills, Creativity and Collaborative Learning.

Applying to UCAS
While the formal UCAS application process occurs in October of Year 13, most Heads of Sixth Form recognise the importance of early preparation: making sure their students have thought carefully about their chosen courses, preferred institutions and their own application. This one-day workshop brings all elements of the preparation together to ensure students approach the application process in an informed and confident manner.

GCSE English Headstart
The final term of Year 9 is a real opportunity to enrich and add value to your students' learning experiences. With the Key Stage 3 tests finally over and GCSE just around the corner, a boost is often needed to keep students motivated and on-track. The 'Headstart' workshop will provide a new perspective on English studies and a host of fresh challenges - encouraging students to feel enthused and ready for the learning journey ahead.

The Student Voice Programme
A series of five modules designed to promote Student Voice in your school

GCSE Maths
Success in GCSE Maths is essential for students; it shows that they are capable and confident of using a wide range of sophisticated numeric and analytical skills. Careful preparation leading up to the practice and final examinations has a significant impact on the end result, and is essential if your students are to reach their potential.

GCSE English Revision Sessions
Success in GCSE English is essential and undoubtedly literacy skills contribute to success in every subject. The period from September to the examinations is a very stressful time for Year 11 students and often independent revision can seem impossible. We offer a range of focused strategies to enable your students to reach their potential.
